RAYNET, The Radio Amateurs’ Emergency Network is the UK’s national voluntary communications service provided for the community by licensed radio amateurs, which has several hundred groups operating across the UK. ( If you are not local to North East Hampshire click here for the National Raynet site, for further info on your nearest group.)

The North East Hampshire Raynet Group are a voluntary group of Local Radio Amateurs, who use their spare time and radio equipment to provide communication facilities for a number of events in Hampshire and the surrounding areas, on behalf of organisations such as the British Red Cross Society, Hampshire Constabulary, St. John Ambulance, and Hampshire County Emergency Planning Unit. Over the last 30 years we have provided the communications for The Fleet Half Marathon, the Yateley 10km Race Series, British Sled Dogs ,  British Horse Society, Oak Farm Fun Run, and a number of Scout overnight events.
